a wee tune‘I know that I will be asked why I painted this. I think viewers are entitled to their own unique memories, though, and I don’t wish to impose my words on that. Nevertheless, for me the work describes those finer things that make us what we really are – childhood, love, music, and art – all wrapped up in the roots and security of family. (A whiff of Grandma’s peppermints seems to waft by every time my children and I pound out ‘Chopsticks’ on the piano.)’ |

The Limited Edition lithograph ‘a wee tune’ is a reproduction of an oil painting by Judy Minor. It has been printed on quality acid-free stock, using a state-of-the-art, traditional style five-colour Heidelberg press. The artist has personally approved each stage of the printing process. Each of the 700 prints (each size) is inspected, then hand-numbered and signed by the artist. There are also 70 signed and numbered artist’s proofs. Printing plates are subsequently destroyed. |
