Lacrosse Sticks (traditional)
‘Lacrosse is Canada’s official summer sport, and it is no doubt one of the earliest ones played in this country.
These are old wooden lacrosse sticks, and they appear to have been well-loved, judging by the amounts of adhesive tape and various restringing efforts. I read that it is a special art to make these from wood, and only a few makers in Canada who continue the craft.
There is something I like very much about old wood, old leather, and traditional craftsmanship.’ |
